Tafsut Music Band


TAFSUT, is a band created in 2004 by  Amazigh activists in Agadir (Morocco). TAFSUT participated in many festivals and concerts transmitting its noble messages of peace, freedom, justice, human rights to a large public of Moroccans. On 2005 TAFSUT was invited to participate in a concert in Mediterranean Social Forum in Barcelona then Tafsut members participated in "Festival de la Culture Amazigh" in Lille, France. After this European tour Tafsut came back to Morocco and won the 1st price of a competition at TIMITAR international festival in Agadir.
The lyrics of Tafsut, which are Souss Berber, are written by Abdellah BOUZANDAG, the singer of the band, and are about Amazigh people, their political situation and the issue of freedom for the Amazigh people throughout North-Africa..
Tafsut wants to reach the audiance by introducing new multilingual songs. One of those songs is called "TILELLI" which means freedom in Tamazight and it is produced in four four languages: Tamazight, Spanish, French and English...For a sample of this song, visit our Music section
